Position Title: VP Of Sales - UK & Ireland


Key Relationships: Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success Teams


The VP Of Sales will be responsible for leading a sales force to acquire clients and developing a strategy to drive all the revenues generating activities. This person will report to the Co-founder and will play a key role in generating new revenue, defining scalable sales processes, and creating efficient programs that drive predictable sales productivity with an emphasis on upselling and customer success. The VP Of Sales will be the driving force for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with internal key stakeholders and external business partners, growing and managing existing business, as well as hiring and developing top talents. They will help define a clear vision for how Easyship can capture greater market share and will lead the execution of the plan to enable exponential growth. The VP of Sales must be a collaborative, cross-functional problem solver.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is to generate, retain and expand sales revenue in the UK & Ireland Market.
  • Hire, train, manage & mentor a team of Account Executives focusing on the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to inspire others to drive toward common goals. Ability to mentor, coach, and develop diverse talent. Willing and able to be a "doer" and "influencer"
  • Establish, enforce and improve the sales processes to maximize team efficiency
  • Drive business cadence for forecast calls, functional review meetings, deal review, customer account reviews, weekly team meetings and periodic company-wide kick offs
  • Manage the team via metrics and report on their success
  • Identify and create strong relations with customers through consistent contact; manage customer relationships within assigned accounts to defend and grow the business
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Manage company CRM and provide key data for business decisions

Requirements


Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • 5+ years of sales, selling service solutions in eCommerce and/or technology sales, plus 3+ years in sales leadership
  • Proven track record in SaaS sales, preferred
  • Must have experience and a proven Sales methodology, including pipeline management, forecasting, and Prospecting for New Opportunities
  • Must have strong communication and negotiation skills. Present solutions to customers throughout any phase of the deal cycle
  • Experience with accurately forecasting new sales and revenue recognition using revenue metrics. Demonstrated knowledge of Analytics a plus
  • Must know how to work in a structured environment, leading projects in a precise and efficient matter and with clear deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Must have experience working with and co-selling with the partner (channel) community, both at the national and regional level
  • Comfort with a flat organization
  • HubSpot CRM experience desired
