Position Title: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Specialist
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Key Relationships: Marketing Team, Development Team, Tech Team, Content Team
Job Purpose: Ensure our platforms are SEO optimized, through the use of link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.
Keyword Strategy - Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization;
Ongoing Audits - make sure our all pages on our platforms are technically optimized and performing well;
Research for search engine optimization recommendations;
Research and analyse competitor strategies;
Participate in link building initiatives;
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code;
Work with marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming;
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords; and
Preparation of frequent and actionable reporting.

Extensive knowledge of, and experience in, search engine optimization;
Demonstrated ability to track goals and measure ROI;
3+ years in the digital marketing arena;
Ability to collaborate with other departments to create the most effective overall marketing strategy;
Experience with keyword research;
In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Botify, Fastspring, Avangate, Google Search Console);
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms;
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO; and
Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities to drive the most value.
