Position Title: Operations Account Manager

Reports to: Head of Customer Engagement

Key Relationships: Customer Service dept, Fulfillment dept, Operations dept

Job Purpose: Owns the performance and improvement between internal and external courier partners in the day to day business. The single point of contact for all courier partners in North America.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand partner and customer challenges

  • Identify problems and implement resolutions in a timely fashion

  • Root-cause Analysis and Resolution

  • Reporting of Partner performance to internal stakeholders

  • Main Point of Contact of Partners for Day to Day operations

  • Assist on testing of new operational solutions with couriers and warehouses

  • Identify freight savings opportunities, implement process changes, and measure and report results

  • Hold service providers accountable for performance by challenging appropriately and effectively

  • Serve as the primary logistics contact for the e-commerce and omni-channel divisions regarding all carrier related business needs (e.g. service issues, reporting, data analysis, etc.)

  • Lead weekly reviews with the partners and service providers

  • Escalate unresolved or high-risk issues to management as needed

Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with well developed international and cross border experience

  • Experience from working in a tech environment is preferred

  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively and be willing to accept and provide direction

  • Experience with international parcel shipping is essential

  • E-commerce Supply Chain experience is preferred

  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external customers, lead conversations/meetings and influence others

  • Creative thinking skills, willingness to share opinion and challenge the status quo

  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment and manage competing priorities

  • Positive attitude and the ability to change direction with little notice
