Position Title: L&D Partner
Reports to: Head of HR
Key Relationships: Project Managers, HR, Founders.
Job Purpose: This role will require strong leadership skills and excellent ability to build relationships and collaborate across the company at all levels. The role requires both strategic thinking of the bigger picture as well as collaboration and practical delivery to embed the values and culture across our many sites which span locations across the UK. The key focus of the role is to develop a high performance culture through training, performance management and talent development.
About you: You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of performance management, change management and talent development. You are a strong communicator with the ability to influence decision making and channel positive values across all levels within the organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
Design & Implement global learning and development strategy.
Work closely with internal and external partners to create development programmes
Create exceptional learning experiences for employees.
Be accountable for the performance management and learning & development tools.
Develop training procedures for the complete organisation.
Manage a performance management system, including execution and maintenance.
Drive new performance management initiatives including developing career progression, reward management and training leaders within the business.
Monitor development and track employee performance.
Accountable for ensuring L&D contributes to and influences improved performance across the commercial division at an individual, team and functional level.
Partnering with HR, Founders, and Project Managers to build insight into existing levels of capability, identify gaps and embed L&D initiatives.
Challenge, evaluate and benchmark the effectiveness of the company’s talent, learning and development systems and process to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in supporting and raising performance.
Skills & Personal Qualities:
3-5 years of experience in a learning and development role or performance management role.
Have experience in designing, developing and delivering training material; developing a training strategy and understanding of different training methods and channels
Proven experience of creating highly engaging and innovative blended learning programmes
Creative and innovative with a passion for generating new ideas and challenging the status quo – you will be solutions oriented, persistent and determined
Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders – working collaboratively with external and internal subject matter experts to design effective learning programmes that meet identified business needs and deliver cultural change.
Strong gravitas and communication skills to command and lead development initiatives across the organisation.
Data Driven with an analytical approach to problem solving.
