Position Title: Head of Logistics

Reports to: Co-Founder

Location: London, UK (not remote-eligible)

The Head of Logistics is responsible for leading strategy and execution of Logistics business plans for Easyship, as well as leading, mentoring, and growing our team of Operations professionals.

This role is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and drives process discipline and efficiency across the Logistics organization by managing the operational and daily business through common processes, systems/tools, and KPIs.

This role is responsible for identifying industry best practices and process enhancements for shipping and fulfillment operations. This includes, but not limited to, quality and operational efficiencies directly contributing to an improved customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, lead, and direct people managers and individual contributors, delivering high-performing teams in the Courier, Fulfillment, and Logistics business units.

  • Design, develop, and deploy operating model that allows us to scale globally, which includes, but not limited to the use of partners, service providers, and outsourced services

  • Partner with commercial, product, and pricing management teams to develop growth strategies for the business units

  • Develop feedback loops to Product and Technology teams to ensure we achieve the expected ROI on new products, features, and services

  • Accountable for quality, cost, and service metrics in the areas of responsibility; implement initiatives to improve and meet goals/expectations.

  • Drive a culture of continuous innovation with the goal to improve quality of output.

  • Work with our People team to develop leadership, career, and growth plans to retain and attract talent

  • Develop and lead regular business cadences such as weekly and monthly business reviews, forecasting and annual planning cycles

Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • 5-6 years managing a teams and operations, preferably in the cross border industry

  • Proven track record in continuous improvement projects

  • Comfortable managing teams across multiple geographies

  • Ability to work on-site in our London office w/ occasional regional and global travel


  • 4+ years experience in cross border supply chains and logistics and/or freight forwarding

  • 4+ years experience in eCommerce, Fulfillment, Parcel, Post, or Logistics industry

  • Masters degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience

  • Experience in data analytics and programs such as SQL or equivalent
